Tired of storing all your hard earned cash in your mattress? Can’t find any more places around the house to hide your money? Consider opening a savings account with WaMu. What better place to stash your cash and earn a bit of interest. I personally have a WaMu checking and savings account for years now and haven’t had any major problems. They’ve been easy to find when I need to withdraw cash from an ATM or make a deposit and the staff have always been friendly and helpful.
Some of the things that WaMu would like for me to mention are:
- Free online banking
- Free electronic statements
- Avoid a $4 monthly service charge by maintaining a minimum $300 daily balance
- You can sign up for Overdraft Transfer Service which will transfer available funds from a linked savings account to your checking account to avoid overdraft
This isn’t your typical go to WaMu and sign up for a savings account, but rather it is a new online service offered by WaMu where you can sign up and setup a personal savings account all online. I’m sure some of you have seen that tacky WaMu commercial where there are a bunch of old men are naked trying to sign up for a personal savings account…ummm…yea.
