Works for me – http://cuteandinsane.com/2009/01/28/test-post/ is a domain mapped onto blog_id 1 of my test server. I uploaded the image through the flash uploader in 2.7

@Donncha O Caoimh – Donncha, it still doesn’t work . I get “No WPMU site defined on this host. If you are the owner of this site, please check Debugging WPMU for further assistance.” when I use the Flash Uploader.

Try domain_mapping.php from http://svn.wp-plugins.org/wordpress-mu-domain-mapping/trunk/
I removed an is_admin() check so it should show the mapped domain in the backend.
