My work lead, Tyler Vu, just got one of the new Apple iPhones (8GB model) over the weekend. It is absolutely amazing, the built quality is phenomenal! The OS runs blazing fast. I truly think Apple has reinvented the phone.

Nikon D40 Seems Cool
The other day I was at Target, I happen to be around the electronics/camera area and spotted the Nikon D40 on display. Popular Photography and a few other online sites have quite a few good things to say about it, so out of curiosity I picked it up and played with it for a bit.
Unfortunately, like most of the other cool electronics when you want to try it, the power cable to the Nikon D40 wasn’t functioning correctly, so I couldn’t power it on and test fire a few. But construction wise and ergonomically speaking, the D40 is very well built. It feels solid and not overly plastic feeling. The buttons press smoothly and quietly. It has a comfortable grip being that it is slightly smaller than the Canon XTi. I would almost venture to say that it is slightly better built than the Canon XTi, but without trying it for at least a week, I can’t accurately compare.
If I hadn’t made the switch from Nikon to Canon, I probably would seriously consider purchasing it as a secondary SLR because of its size. And from what I’ve been reading, it is actually better to get the Nikon D40 than it’s newer version, the Nikon D40x. For the reasons, read Ken Rockwell’s review.
Temporary Site Design
Due to some issues with the Bui4Ever v15 theme, I have temporarily disabled it until the issues can be resolved.
Update: Issue has been resolved and the site design is back to normal.
CNN has finally joined the club
CNN.com’s latest site reboot is definitely an improvement over the previous design, it sure took them long enough to adopt tabless design. Also another major improvement is that the videos are now streamed through flash which makes it many times more compatible on my Mac that the Windows Media Player of the previous time. Keep up the improvement CNN!
